  • Maggie Doel

    Maggie Doel, BHSI

    Maggie has played a fundamental part in David’s career throughout the years, with her wealth of knowledge as a performance coach and competitor. She previously evented to Advanced level and competed at Grand Prix dressage level. She still enjoys dressage competitions with her horse Lance a Little.

  • Charlotte Doel

    Charlotte Doel

    Charlotte, David’s business partner and wife, helps produce all of David’s young horses. She also has her own string of horses that she successfully competes up to 1.30m show jumping. She’s also taken many of the young horses on the team to Burghley Young Event Horse qualifiers.

  • Lucy Grimshaw

    Lucy Grimshaw

    Lucy is the backbone of the team - making sure everything stays shipshape, and David has what is required to compete and train for the season ahead. Lucy ensures horses and grooms are where they need to be, on time, and in the best shape possible. (She’s also the designated yard plaiting expert!)

  • Jade Roberts

    Jade is the Reybridge travelling groom and has a wealth of experience at the top level of eventing, having worked with David for many years, and for Tim and Jonelle Price. There’s no horse she can’t clip!

  • Ellie Bierton

    Ellie is Reybridge Eventing’s apprentice. She can be found regularly schooling - youngsters and advanced horses alike - and currently has one of David’s previous rides on loan.

  • Ursie

    Ursula Mackinder

    Ursie is a longtime groom and therapist - helping David’s horses to stay at peak performance with regular massage and BEMER treatments. She’s passionate about treating horses as individuals - so there’s no cookie-cutter approach to keeping them on top form. Ursie has a shadow(!) - her adorable Staffie, Shabs.

  • Granny

    Granny Fox

    Mary Fox, David’s grandmother, has been David’s biggest supporter throughout his career. Known as Granny to all(!) - she is still seen at many events throughout the year. You can usually find her at the lorry cooking bacon sandwiches and making cups of tea for everyone.
