On another windy hilltop in the Cotswolds we gathered to put our horses through their paces once more.  Withington Manor is a great location, with stunning views across the country, and excellent facilities.  The ground was near-perfect and the organisation (apparently!) seamless.

Our four entries on Saturday went like clockwork, thanks to the organisers helping with multiple entries, and to the team for shuttling horses back and forth to the various warm-ups, resulting in a 12th and 13th in the Intermediate (Niki Ryan’s Shannondale Jasper and Mark Milligan’s Bottoms Up III), and a 12th and 15th in the OI (Patsy Mason’s Mr Hi Ho and Niki Ryan’s Kiltubrid Rhapsody).

Another early start on Sunday for the Novice, which saw Cracker Jack II finish 3rd, and at the other end of the day, Gillian Jonas’s Chap had a ‘cracking’ (David’s word) run across country to finish in 12th.
